Biography

Zuoyong Li, Ph.D., Professor, deputy director of scientific research department in Minjiang University, master supervisor, director of Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of information processing and intelligent control, member of intelligent pharmacy professional committee of Chinese pharmaceutical association, executive director of Fujian artificial intelligence society & director of youth working committee, deputy director of Fuzhou digital medical and health industry technology innovation center, former vice chairman of CCF YOCSEF Fuzhou, member of CCF Fuzhou and CCF YOCSEF Fuzhou. In recent years, he mainly focuses on the research of image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning. He has successively led three projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), eight provincial or departmental projects, and three municipal projects. He has won one second prize of Guangxi Natural Science Award (ranking the third). He has published nearly 80 academic papers, including nearly 50 SCI papers. He has published an academic book, and has co-authored four books. He has authorized 5 national invention patents. He has been selected as outstanding young scientific research talents in universities of Fujian province, new century excellent talents in universities of Fujian province, and Fujian capital talents (young top-notch talents). He has led the scientific research team to obtain "Fuzhou May 1st pioneer post" and "Fuzhou May 4th Youth Medal (collective)".
